The only time it is okay for your kids to run in the street.
Every year, the city of Westchester hosts a wonderful, traditional parade filled with vintage cars, marching bands, fire engines and, most importantly, the Anopi Nation. The sidewalks will be filled with community members cheering us forward as the kids pass out candy to all the little ones in the crowd. It’s a nice walk and a great way for the Anopi Nation to meet the neighbors.
What to bring to the Holiday Parade
- Most kids walk the short route but others like to bring some sort of kid-powered transportation.
- Bike
- scooter
- candy to pass out
- comfy walking shoes
- wagon
- vest
- and your best wave
