Gobble, gobble, gobble up some turkey with all the trimmings.
When the leaves start turning yellow and red, an Indian Guide’s heart turns to stuffing. As in stuffing your face with turkey, mashed potatoes and the many other wonderful foods you’ll enjoy at the Pilgrim Potluck.
The annual Anopi Pilgrim Potluck is open to the entire Nation and their families and is held at the exclusive, and weather-resistant, Chevron State Park in El Segundo. Our gathering place offers both indoor and covered outdoor eating areas with electrical outlets, gas burners and microwave (a small kitchen is also available to the Emeril’s among us). Each tribe will plan and prepare their own Thanksgiving feast. Punch will be provided by the host tribes.
After the gobbling is complete, it’s time to burn off the carbs by playing classic games like the three-legged race, balloon or egg toss and tug o’ war.
Don’t eat the night before and go light on breakfast, because this is the caloric intake event of the year!
